“Every successful organization has to make the transition from a world defined primarily by repetition to one primarily defined by change.”
This is so true with regard to the Journal of TNOA, now known as Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research. Having taken over as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of TNOA in April 2016, it was very crucial to plan a strategy for the next 3 years. There were no articles to start with and not much time either. We also had in the pipeline, the long-awaited transition to an indexed, online-ahead of print, open-access peer-reviewed journal.
“All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination. Sometimes it's the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination.”
It was my priority, soon after taking over as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal TNOA, to conduct regular Scientific Writing Workshops.
In this series, called “Journey of the Journal,” I would bring your attention to the efforts taken so far and the workshops that were held regularly, in the TNOA conferences as well as in academic institutions, to sensitize the TNOA members, faculty and postgraduates about publishing their research work in Journal of TNOA.
Scientific Writing Workshops helped enormously to simplify and demystify research methodology to those who wanted to publish but did not know where to start and how to go about it. With not even a single article in the article bank, it was essential to motivate and encourage more submissions of articles to the Journal of TNOA within timelines.
All the Scientific Writing Workshops held so far highlighted the importance of the research question, hypothesis, study design, variables, and biostatistics of a research article. They also focused on the critical steps in the design and reporting of clinical research and how its results are communicated to the journals. There were a series of didactic lectures from experts and the members of the editorial team who would deliver the basic knowledge about steps toward publishing manuscripts. At the end of each workshop, there were interactions of the participants with panelists, by way of open house question and answer session. These sessions highlighted the ways of improving writing skills of scientific research papers, discussion on statistics, and examples in real life situations of the expert panelists who were authors and reviewers of scientific papers themselves. Critical analysis on why papers get rejected or accepted was also discussed.
Every journey starts with the first step.
The 1st Scientific writing workshop
As the first step, “Scientific writing and Journal Publishing” (under the aegis of Indian Journal of Ophthalmology and Journal of Tamil Nadu Ophthalmic Association) was held on Sunday, April 3, 2016, from 9.00 AM to 1.30 PM at the Auditorium of Sundaram Medical Foundation (SMF) OP Block, Shanthi Colony, Anna Nagar, Chennai.
Journal of TNOA, in association with Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, organized this workshop on scientific writing, for the benefit of postgraduates and TNOA members who are interested in scientific writing and publishing, without any registration fees and invitations were circulated.
The workshop was attended by over 75 ophthalmologists and TNOA members, who were benefited greatly.
The welcome address and workshop outline were given by Dr. Nirmal Fredrick [Figure 1] following which there were practical talks given by two renowned scientists, Dr. Prabhdeep Kaur [Figure 2] and Dr. Ganesh Kumar, from The National Institute of Epidemiology, Dr. S. Natarajan Editor, IJO [Figure 3], and Dr. Murali Ariga, Consultant, SMF [Figure 4].
There was a Panel Discussion on “Peer Review Process” which was moderated by Dr. R. R, Sudhir [Figure 5] with panelists, Prof. Dr. K. Vasantha, Dr. Rajesh Sinha, Dr. J. Biswas, Dr. Rajiv Raman, and Dr. Ronnie George highlighting the nuances of peer-review process in publishing [Figure 6]. The speakers sensitized the delegates on “Scientific Writing and Journal Publishing” in a lively and interactive manner, which was well received by all [Figure 7].

The Editor Dr. Nirmal Fredrick then presented the topics that would be discussed as follows:
- Develop editorial policies to guide the content, scope, purpose, and style of the journal, conflict of interest, ethics in research, sharing of data, authorship, and to ensure that each edition of the journal is reviewed for conformity to the policies
- The regular and timely production of the journal publication; solicit for contributions, assist Editorial Staff Team to identify suitable reviewers, participate as reviewers, provide input on the content and direction of issues, and promote the journal widely
- Ensure compliance to fairness, courtesy, objectivity, honesty, and transparency of submissions to the journal and in their peer-review process; attend Editorial Board meetings for the year
- Reviewing annually Editorial Board performance; mobilizing resources and other innovative means to sustain the journal publication
- Ensure peer reviewers' conformity to the established guidelines
- Recommend members to assist with the journal in an honorary capacity
- Conduct the performance appraisal of the Editorial Team annually

- Registration of the journal for statutory compliance: Registration of the print journal with RNI and getting ISSN number for the electronic version. The budget for the same may be approved by the MC and GB. The Secretary Office and Editor Office will work toward getting the mandatory approvals
- Exclusive website for the journal with online submission and peer-review process: mandatory requirement for indexing: streamlining abstract submission and processing through online dedicated journal website
- Electronic version of our journal: e-journal of TNOA can ensure timely publication and help us in reducing the carbon footprint. Can help us improve the clicks/citations/impact factor. An article can be published on the journal website, as soon as it has been accepted and prepared for publication. Faster dissemination of scientific information — peer review, editorial, production work, and distribution is all electronic
- Standardize the name, logo, cover page, style, and format: Name: Journal of TNOA — There is a conflict in the name with the registered name for Journal of Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association and Texas narcotic officers association. Name itself indicates a journal for the association and associated with a particular language/regional. It goes against principle of open access journal. Many state journals have changed the nomenclature and name, for example, JCOR by Maharashtra, KSOS journal to Journal of Vision Sciences
The Editorial board proposes the name of Journal of Ophthalmic Sciences and Research (Name available in the database of scientific journal), standardization of journal logo, cover page and style, and format for easy retrieval, branding, and recollection in the publishing industry
- Archiving the journal of TNOA: in traceable and easy to retrieve format. Journal of TNOA has a long 54-year publishing history. Our journal is a treasure chest of knowledge, history, innovation, and progress of ophthalmology in our region. Unfortunately, we have the archive journal is pdf format only for the past two decades. Many volumes of our journals and souvenirs have not been stored or archived. It is our duty to archive and preserve it for the younger generation and new members. The journals have to be collected from senior members, scanned, microfilmed, and documented in xml format for easy retrieval and reference
- Creating an office for the journal with an executive: If we want to achieve the above objectives, we need to have a managerial staff, which can do the data processing work, indexing work, xml editing, archiving, and author help desk and facilitate printing and dispatch of journals
- Forming the core team of the journal: The core team of the Journal of TNOA was to be formed, comprising the TNOA members who were willing to work steadily and consistently, to fulfill the objectives of the journal.
To summarize, during the first Editorial Board Meeting, the need to make Journal of TNOA an open access journal, with online portal and indexing, was unanimously agreed upon. The members gave their views that indexing will not only ensure better visibility and readership but also attract articles of good quality. They also pointed out that, for faculty in teaching institutions, publishing original research articles in indexed journals of good impact factor becomes essential in the background of the new MCI norms.
The basic criteria for indexing are that the title of the Journal should have a general name, not indicating a linguistic or demographic limitation. Journal should be peer-reviewed, published on time, and published at least twice in a year. Journal should have started at least 3 years before selection. Journal should follow the guidelines of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (IJMJE-http://www.icmje.org/). At least the journal is expected to follow “Vancouver System” for References and the “IMRAD Research Paper Format” for presentation of articles. As many of these mandatory requirements need changes in the title, cover page, layout, table of contents, legal registrations such as RNI and ISSN, the Editorial board recommended the same to the Managing committee and General body for approval.
The new Editorial Board also resolved to get the approval of Managing Committee/General Body, for an exclusive website for the Journal with online content management system to make it easy for the members to submit the articles and archiving of old articles for the members' access.
After the journal content management system website is hosted, apart from easy accessibility by authors for submissions and reviews, the listing of the journal can also be done by the various databases such as Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, and Directory of Open Access Journals as the next step.
Sometimes, it is the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination-Drake.
Soon after the Editorial Board meeting held on Sunday the April 3, 2016, we had to make sure that the statutory requirements for the Journal were met. To enable the statutory work, RNI Registration and ISSN processing was constantly being pursued. With perseverance and ceaseless efforts, we were able to get it done, after clearance from Tamil Nadu office and RNI Office-Delhi.

The following is the editorial workflow that every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes, during the peer-review process. The entire editorial workflow would be performed using the online manuscript tracking system in TNOA journal website. Once a manuscript is submitted for publication, the manuscript is checked by the journal's editorial office to ensure that it is suitable to go through the normal peer review process. Once this is done, the manuscript is sent to an appropriate section Editor, based on the subject of the manuscript and the availability of the Editors. All manuscripts shall be handled by an Editor who does not have any potential conflict of interest with any of the manuscript's authors.
- If the Editor finds that the manuscript may not be of sufficient quality to go through the normal peer review process, or that the subject of the manuscript may not be appropriate for the journal's scope, the manuscript shall be rejected with no further processing
- If the Editor finds that the submitted manuscript is of sufficient quality and falls within the scope of the journal, they should assign the manuscript to external reviewers, provided that no conflict of interests exists between these reviewers and the manuscript's authors
- The reviewers will then submit their reports on the manuscripts along with their recommendation of one of the following actions to the Editor:
- Publish unaltered
- Consider after minor changes
- Consider after major changes
- Reject: Manuscript is flawed or not sufficiently novel.
When all reviewers have submitted their reports, the Editor can make one of the following editorial recommendations:
- Publish unaltered
- Consider after minor changes
- Consider after major changes
If the Editor recommends “Publish Unaltered,” the manuscript will undergo a final check by the journal's editorial office (Asst. Editors) to ensure that the manuscript and its review process adhere to the journal's guidelines and policies.
Once this is done, the authors will be notified of the manuscript's acceptance. If the Editor recommends “Consider after Minor Changes,” the authors are notified to prepare and submit a final copy of their manuscript with the required minor changes suggested by the reviewers.
The Editor reviews the revised manuscript after the minor changes have been made by the authors. Once the Editor is satisfied with the final manuscript, the manuscript can be accepted.
If the Editor recommends “Consider after Major Changes,” the authors are expected to revise their manuscript in accordance with that recommendation and to submit their revised manuscript in a timely manner. Once the revised manuscript is submitted, the original reviewers are asked to review it.
Along with their review reports on the revised manuscript, the reviewers make a recommendation which can be “Publish Unaltered,” “Consider after Minor Changes,” “Consider after Major Changes,” or “Reject.” Then, the Editor can make an editorial recommendation which can be “Publish Unaltered,” “Consider after Minor Changes,” or “Reject.” If the Editor recommends rejecting the manuscript, the rejection is immediate. In addition, if the majority of the reviewers recommend rejecting the manuscript, the rejection is immediate.
The editorial workflow gives the Editors the authority to reject any manuscript because of:
- Inappropriateness of its subject
- Lack of quality, or
- Incorrectness of its results
- The Editor cannot assign himself/herself as an external reviewer of the manuscript.
This is to ensure a high-quality, fair, and unbiased peer-review process of every manuscript submitted to the journal, since any manuscript must be recommended by one or more (usually two or more) external reviewers along with the Editor in charge of the manuscript in order for it to be accepted for publication in the journal.
The name of the Editor recommending the manuscript for publication is published with the manuscript to indicate and acknowledge their invaluable contribution to the peer-review process and the indispensability of their contributions to the running of the journals.
The peer-review process is single-blinded/double-blinded; that is, the reviewers know who the authors of the manuscript are, but the authors do not have access to the information of who the peer reviewers are.

The manuscripts will be reviewed for possible publication with the understanding that they are being submitted to one journal at a time and have not been published, simultaneously submitted, or already accepted for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts submitted to this journal will be sent for peer review process by any two experts in their respective fields, in a blinded fashion.
The authors will be sent an automatic acknowledgement regarding the receipt of the article, and will be updated regularly about the status by E-mail or after logging on to the MMS. Any corrections in the manuscript suggested for accepted articles should be sent back within 14 days. A covering letter must be enclosed and should include a statement regarding transfer of copyright of the work to the TNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research.
| Clinical Trials Registry|| |
All clinical trials from India must be registered with “clinical trials registry — India.” The trials conducted outside India may be registered with any other clinical trial registry. The Indian Council of Medical Research has recommended to make it mandatory to have registration number for all clinical trials submitted for publication from January 2009.

For ease of communication, WhatsApp groups were formed by the Editor, for the Editorial Board members and the core team. The first journal core meet was scheduled without wasting much time.
At the outset, the Editor, Dr. T. Nirmal Fredrick explained in detail to the core team, the editorial workflow and assigned responsibilities to the core members, to plan ahead of time.
The table of contents (TOC) of the Journal must be standardized, as per requirement of an indexed journal, which was hitherto not the standard practice. The core team met frequently and updated on the progress each one made in their respective assigned tasks to keep pace with deadlines [Figure 10]. Here is an example of how the journal the work was done.

The April 2016 issue was published, after incorporating a standardized TOC, in accordance with the Indexing requirements, for the first time [Figure 10]a. The journal core team met soon after and shared the feedback about the journal and steps to encourage more author submissions [Figure 10]b.
| Second Scientific Writing Workshop|| |
The second workshop on scientific-writing was conducted on August 05, 2016 at Hall B, 2.30—4.00 pm at VIT, VELLORE, during VELEYE, the 64th annual conference of TNOA [Table 1].
The workshop was chaired by the TNOA President, Dr. Prof. K. Vasantha and Prof. V. R. Vijayaraghavan and co-chaired by Dr. S. Natarajan [Figure 11].

The welcome address and the workshop outline was given by Editor-JTNOA, Dr. T. Nirmal Fredrick.
The Keynote address refutation: Guiding Principles of Scientific Research was given by Dr. JPMuliyil [Figure 12]. The art and basics of Scientific Writing were highlighted by Dr. Rachula Daniel [Figure 13]. Dr. Ronnie George, Senior Consultant, Glaucoma Services, Sankara Nethralaya spoke in detail on Study Designs [Figure 14].
Practical talks given by Dr. R. R. Sudhir, Dr. Murali Ariga, and Dr. Namrata Sharma. The speakers interacted with the 74 delegates present, on “Scientific Writing and Journal Publishing” which was informative to all [Figure 15]. The resource persons of the workshop were given an excellent feedback from the audience [Figure 16].

The next issue of Journal of TNOA-August 2016 issue was then published, after incorporating the standardized TOC [Figure 17].

2017 was an eventful year for the Journal of TNOA and TNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research (TJOSR) as we had many “Firsts” this year. A new name and logo for the Journal was given. The April—June 2017 issue of TJOSR was published as online-ahead of print and thus, the first online edition of TJOSR was executed this year.
The March 2017 issue of the Journal of TNOA was published after regularizing the TOC as per standard requirement by indexing agencies. The core team met to discuss on the next steps to improve on the content and submissions of the journal. There were activities which revolved around expeditiously processing the statutory requirements, such as RNI Registration, ISSN, transfer of publishing company to Wolters Kluwers, and establishing the online portal for TJOSR.

The third workshop on Scientific Writing for the benefit of postgraduates and TNOA members was held during the TNOA Mid-year Meet 2017 “Mettupal“EYE”m on January 21, 2017, at Mettupalayam. The topic was “EVERYONE CAN WRITE A SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE: The art of Scientific writing” and invitations were circulated [Table 2].
For the session, the Chairperson was Dr. K. Vasantha, Co-chair was Dr. Syed Asghar Hussain, and Moderator was Dr. V. Sharmila Devi [Figure 18]a.

Dr. Divya Ashok spoke on “Producing a polished article, drafting, editing, and proof-reading” [Figure 18]d. Dr. Nivean Madhivanan spoke on “How to write a case report” [Figure 18]e. The session ended after a lively interaction with the delegates. The workshop was well attended and useful to the delegates [Figure 18]f. [Figure 18]g depicts the journal core team members and [Figure 18]h depicts the senior faculty at the workshop.
The response and feedback on such scientific writing workshops were encouraging. The efforts put in these workshops were not in vain, as they had a cascading effect, bringing in more manuscript submissions, of better quality.
Soon, the March 2017 issue of TJOSR was published. As you can see, the name change was brought about in this issue, fulfilling an important criterion for indexing of the Journal [Figure 19]a. This was a moment in history and brought much joy to the core team [Figure 19]b.

There were important responsibilities that the core team members helped the Editor with, which were summarized as follows:
- Author engagement:
- Soliciting new/original articles, review articles, case reports, etc
- Helping the authors to login and make members to login
- Helping authors to fine-tune their manuscripts
- Keeping up with submission requirements
- Suggesting authors for review articles.
- Engaging the advertisers
- Follow up with advertisers
- Payments' and receipts' follow-up
- Advertisers' requirements.
Website management and engaging Wolters Kluwers:
- Fine tuning the website/manuscript management system (MMS)
- Discussing with Medknow team to bring the journal on time
- Finalizing the online edition
- Print and follow-up.
Workshop and author resources:
- Preparing for scientific writing workshop
- Getting in touch with speakers and organizing the workshop
- Planning/arranging workshop in other places
- Sponsor/resource material for workshops.
- Managing MMS
- First internal review of the article
- Assigning the articles for external review
- Discussion with reviewers to stick to date and quality of review

The core team meets were held at the Editors Office, at the premises of Nirmals Eye Hospital, West Tambaram, regularly. Although we worked on different professional time schedules, we made sure that we attended the meetings. The core team tried out the steps to using the TJOSR website effectively, by bringing our own laptops to the meeting and learning hands-on. Any difficulties would be clarified then and there with the Editor. We updated each other on the progress and pitfalls during the course of respective assigned tasks of each core member. The core team helped authors who needed help in submitting their articles to the JOSR MMS. Our discussions were also about getting more articles and advertisements for the journal.

- A new name and logo for the Journal had to be given, as it was a mandatory requirement for indexing and RNI registration. There was a lot of discussion with seniors, to finalize on the name change and logo which was then accepted at the Managing Committee (MC) and general body (GB) meeting of the TNOA [Figure 20].
- Communication was sent to all the TNOA members through E-mails regarding the details of manuscript submission as follows:

This was indeed a great moment in time, a historical moment, when the April-June 2017 issue of TJOSR [Figure 21] was published as online first. This was received by TNOA members and readers with much enthusiasm, as it had been a long-awaited dream come true. The online version was soon followed by dispatch of the hard copies.

The fourth workshop on scientific writing, for the benefit of postgraduates and TNOA members, was held during the TNOA Annual Conference, EROVISION 2017, at Erode.
Topic: Demystifying clinical research and scientific writing
Under the aegis of TJOSR with a total time of 90 min. The members were as follows:

This was followed by a panel discussion (45 min) [Figure 22]e. There was good feedback from the participants and authors who had submitted articles online to the journal on its portal [Figure 22]f.
Summary of changes incorporated
Our journal needed a transformation, to progress in the realms of scientific publishing. Although discussions about indexing, online edition to complement the print version of the TNOA's flagship publication, have taken place before, we needed to give a direction and push toward addressing the legal requirements, online manuscript management, and indexing.
- We started with the first-ever scientific writing workshop under the aegis of Journal of TNOA followed by the
- EB meeting on April 3, 2016
- The first issue was rolled out in June, 2016, and received an overwhelming feedback on the design and content
- The 2nd scientific writing workshop during Vellore TNOA conference
- Approval from GB TNOA for our proposal to go ahead with RNI registration, name change, and indexing and the budget requirement — August 2016. Starting with the statutory requirement of registration of the journal, the RNI registration process, title verification has been done and approved by the Registrar, RNI Government of India, vide RNI reference No. 1303157 and title code: TNENG06019 dated February 23, 2017
- The 2nd issue rolled out in October 2016 with a standardized format for indexing
- Submission of registration with RNI, application had been cleared from Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu and now pending with RNI office, New Delhi
- Discussion with website vendors such as Numerotec and Wolters Kluwers for establishing a content management system/website — proposals were submitted to the TNOA MC
- The third issue was rolled in January 2017. All the journals will be archived in the website of TNOA (www.tnoa.info)
- The 3rd edition of Scientific Writing workshop was held on January 21, 2017, at Mettupalayam during the midyear meet
- Happy that RNI registration was successful: RNI office in principle approved the title “TNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research.” TNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research — “JOSR” is our registered acronym
- TNOA MC in principle approved the selection of Wolters Kluwers as the vendor for establishing the website and online content management system. The new journal website is http://www.tnoajosr.com
- The fourth issue was rolled in April/May 2017 under the new name
- Journal logo and standardized cover page: The new board follows a standardized cover page, format, and printing style followed by all indexed peer-reviewed scientific journal and includes its content, original research articles, review articles, case reports, and brief communications. In order to keep the journal tuned to the need of the practitioners, sections such as current opinion, practice guidelines, photo quiz, and journal scan have been included. We will also be including many new and interesting categories based on the feedback from our members
- Journal website was finalized and hosted after having been formally launched by the President of TNOA, Dr. V. Panneerselvam, during the TNOA State Annual conference. The Homepage of the Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research (TJOSR) has the following content: The TJOSR is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal devoted to the dissemination of the latest in ophthalmology to practitioners all over the state and country
- MMS is now live/online. You can login at http://www.journalonweb.com/tjosr. Submission of articles to the journal can be made at http://www.journalonweb.com/tjosr using your login name and password
- New E-mail ID for the journal is email@example.com
- ISSN for online is 2589—4536 and Print ISSN is 2589—4528
- Archiving the Journal of TNOA: all the three issues published by the EB 2016—2017 are archived in PDF format for full journals and individual articles. This will be sent to Google Scholar and IndMed after RNI registration to improve citation factor and impact factor
- Features of our JOSR Journal on web: Journal on Web is an online manuscript processing system which allows a member to submit articles and track their progress up to the proof stage. This secure and easy-to-use service streamlines the uploading, reviewing, and editing of medical manuscripts. JOSR Journal on Web enables manuscripts to be received and processed remotely by editors and reviewers from any computer at any time. With built-in mobile and E-mail alerts as well as reference and plagiarism-checking tools, Journal on Web drastically decreases time spent on processing and peer-reviewing submitted manuscripts. Hence, our turnover time would be reduced and our authors would be able to track the stage of their manuscripts in real time

- Electronic version of our journal: The e-journal of TNOA is soon to be launched in order to ensure timely publication and help us reduce carbon foot print. This process would be over in a couple of months from now.
- Abstracting and indexing information: We have started the process of indexing. Once we publish four journals consistently in the same format and XML the database, we will be sending the contents to indexing bodies. At present, our journal is registered with the following abstracting partners: Baidu Scholar, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, EBSCO Publishing's Electronic Databases, Exlibris—Primo Central, Google Scholar, Hinari, Infotrieve and ProQuest

Some of the EB members had opted out of the next board citing personal reasons and busy schedule. Special thanks for support, contribution, and encouragement from the outgoing EB 2016—2017. The EB members volunteered and consented to continue in the next board, which takes over from July 1, 2017.
The enthusiasm of the core team of the EB for their active participation in getting the content, editing, and publishing the journal is deeply appreciated. The involvement of the active EB members for their submissions/review of articles was encouraging. Above all, sincere thanks to the President TNOA and the TNOA MC members for the support and encouragement. Even though the task was tough and challenging, we were able to fulfill the objectives of the editorial team.
The July—September 2017 issue [Figure 23]a and the October—December 2017 issue [ [Figure 23]b of TNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research (TJOSR) were released with standardized table of contents (TOC). The Editorial Team has been working hard to put the TJOSR publication timeline on track and are happy to receive constructive feedback of TNOA members and readers with their invaluable suggestions at firstname.lastname@example.org.

All the submissions are now fully being done online, in the manuscript management system (MMS) of the TNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Sciences. There was much acceptance to the new TOC, article spread, and quality of articles.
| 5Th scientific Writing Workshop|| |
The 5th workshop on scientific writing for the benefit of postgraduates was held on May 3, 2018, in the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and Government Ophthalmic Hospital (RIOGOH), Egmore, Chennai, as a part of the institution's bicentenary celebration and invitations were sent [Figure 24]a and b].

The journal copies for the RIOGOH Library were given. Dr. V. Sharmila Devi, Assistant Professor, RIOGOH/Assistant Editor, TJOSR, received them, from the Editor and Managing Editor [Figure 25]a. The speakers and few postgraduates who participated at the workshop [Figure 25]b who benefitted from the talks. The steps of submission on the TJOSR MMS were also explained in detail to the participants during scientific writing workshops. The result was seen as more number of manuscript uploads on the Journal portal. Having met the objectives of scientific writing workshops, the Editorial core team evidently is a happy lot [Figure 25]c!

The TOC of the journal started expanding with more article submissions coming in. There is a necessity for more internal reviewers. Dr. Atheek Shaik [Figure 25]d and Dr. Shruti Nishanth [Figure 25]e were eager to join the core team and help with the Journal work.
Soon, the January—March 2018 [Figure 25]f issue of TJOSR was released and was again received by all readers and TNOA members with great enthusiasm and appreciation. It was clearly evident from the fact that the number of people accessing and reading the articles, apart from downloading them or taking a printout, was all viewable from the TJOSR website. Goes without saying that the numbers speak for themselves!
