Reg: Journey of the Journal- article by T. Nirmal Fredrick and Rachula Daniel in April-June 2018 issue

Dear Dr. Nirmal Fredrick/Dr. Rachula Daniel,

I read the above article with great interest and was thoroughly impressed by the effort taken by yourselves in furthering 'Evidence-based ophthalmic practice' in the State. A very significant step in imbibing standard western practices to suit our local population indeed!!

Being familiar with practice patterns, both in India and the UK at a general and sub-specialty level, I could well appreciate the positive move toward the internationally accepted Scottish SIGN grading system of levels of Evidence (graded 1–4 grossly) that would significantly change the face of clinical practice and also standardize clinical care.

Thank you for paving the way for many of us back home.
